Quick Study: Mussorgsky Pictures at an Exhibition, Promenade (Opening)
I wanted to see how long it would take me to record a half way decent recording of this. Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition is one of the seminal works from the Russian School and was made even more famous by Ravel's orchestration of it. This is the opening piece, Promenade, which is the recurring theme in between each portrait.
